New webhost for the blog

I’ve moved the blog to a server of mine located in the Steadfast Networks Datacenter. This was made to get better loadtimes and such :)

‘Ta!

Tag-mania!!! :)

I am about to phase out the categories seen on the right-side bar of the side and use a tag-cloud at the bottom of every page displayed on the blog instead.
Why I do this is because I’ve got so many categories that it’s becoming un-sustainable to have a category-list which spans 4 times as long as the blog-post itself.

On top of the obvious visual and usability-aspects you of course have improved SEO with more linking and better navigation on through-out the entire Hypocrisy.nu.

To create the tag-cloud I’m using Ultimate Tag Warrior, a very nice and easy plugin for wordpress. Go to the plugin’s webpage to find out more.

If you see any bugs in this functionality or have some design viewpoints, then use the “Contact-Me” page above.

Thanks :)

New theme

I’ve switched themes, now Hypocrisy.nu is using “fUnique” by Fredrik Fahlstad – nice looking theme :)

Problems with apache configuration

Ah, before I could get the rewrite-module to start working and get the old directory structure of this blog up I thought I would tear my hair off – though now everything seem to work just fine :)

I didn’t realize that the directory structure within the blog didn’t work until today, so I hope that I didn’t lose to many readers over this! :(

Anyways, kick butt!

New way to get updated when there’s a new post on the Hypocrisy Weblog

Hello everyone, I’ve added an email-subscription function, powered by Feedburner, in the left menu.

This means that you can enter your email-address and get notified straight in your inbox when there’s a new post on this blog – nifty huh?! :)

Listed in Annica’s “Three-leaf clover”

Annica Tiger listed The Hypocrisy weblog in her “Three-leaf clover” (meta?)blog-roll.

Switched platforms

Hypocrisy.nu now switched from Movable Type to Webpress. This was done due to the strict software license which MT runs under, while Webpress is more flexible and GPL.

This platform-switch also will mean a more frequent update rate.

Next step is to install a new theme, and install all the old links and blogrolls.

Cheers! :)
